Take action. Lace up. Volunteer!

The World AIDS Day RED RUN wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering dedication of our amazing volunteers. They are the heart and soul of this event, bringing their passion, skills, and countless hours to make it a success.

Last year alone, 100 volunteers donated an incredible 800 collective hours. Since 2016, over 600 volunteers have dedicated a phenomenal 7,500 hours to the RED RUN.

Volunteer roles

Volunteers are able to support the lead up to the event, and help to deliver the event itself.   We’re currently looking for 120 passionate people to volunteer at the 2024 World AIDS Day RED RUN.

Volunteer roles on the day include:

  • Bag check
  • Registration
  • Set Up
  • Clean up
  • Route Stewards
  • Information Stewards
  • Marquee attendants
  • Coffee servers
  • Water hand out
  • Medal hand out
  • General support

All volunteers will be fully inducted, receive a free RED RUN t-shirt and tote bag, and leave knowing that they played an integral role in delivering the UK’s largest World AIDS Day event!
