Take action. Lace up. Volunteer!

The World AIDS Day RED RUN is rooted in the community and volunteers are at the heart of the event.  The RED RUN would not be possible if it was not for the dedication, skills and passion of the events volunteers.

Last year,  100 volunteers were involved in the event, donating over 800 collective volunteer hours, and since 2016 over 500 volunteers have been involved giving over 6,500 hours of their time!

Volunteers are able to support the lead up to the event, and help to deliver the event itself.   We’re currently looking for 120 passionate people to volunteer at the 2023 World AIDS Day RED RUN.

Volunteer roles on the day include:

  • Bag check
  • Registration
  • Set Up
  • Clean up
  • Route Stewards
  • Information Stewards
  • Marquee attendants
  • Coffee servers
  • Water hand out
  • Medal hand out
  • General support

All volunteers will be fully inducted, receive a free RED RUN t-shirt and tote bag, and leave knowing that they played an integral role in delivering the UK’s largest World AIDS Day event!
